Italian TV

Everyone, I have a suggestion what you can do if you are bored sometime. Just go and buy one of those antennas that pick up European TV and put on Italian TV. You are about to watch programs that you have never seen before and you’ll see people doing stuff you though no one did! A part from the fact that Italian TV often transmits a very disturbing image of women in that the women who are presenting the programs often have done plastic operations and look really unnatural it can be quite amusing to watch it. I’ve just been watching some sort of talk show on the Mediaset channel where a pregnant woman (who is someone famous) is interviewed about her life etc. All the time during the interview the host swaps back and forth between this woman and small reports of other famous people and their love lives which have absolutely nothing to do with the interview itself. Then in one of the discussions with the pregnant woman the whole studio starts to blink like in a disco. And the host goes: “Alright here we go: the panic question”. And then she’s like: “Is it true that before you got married to your husband you had an affair with X?”. I don’t remember what name she mentioned that’s why I’m calling him X. And the pregnant woman who was just talking about what name she and her husband were gonna give to their child is like “Oh, no, that’s absolutely not true”. So then the host goes like: “Okay, then, next question”. And it just goes on and on in this way. In the end of the interview you’re so confused about everything that you don’t remember anything that’s been said and you sure don’t know this famous pregnant woman any better. But hey, it was still fun watching it all!
