Picnic in the park

Getting out in the nature is not as easy in Italy as it is back home. In order to be able to have picnic in the fields you need to take a bus to get out of the city and then walk quite a bit to find a nice place. The idea of grabbing a blanket and some soda to sunbath just outside your house in a bikini is really an unthinkable thing which is actually a shame. Even if there had been more nature in Siena it would have been unthinkable because of all the Italian guys who would come to talk to you and hit on you. But yesterday was a beautiful and sunny day perfect for sunbathing so we got on a bus and eventually found a nice, hidden park where we could enjoy the sun and some cookies. Everyone says that this winter and spring have been unusually warm and sunny cause evidently this is a period which is supposed to be rainy. Indeed, many days have been sunny recently and there is not much else to do than to enjoy it all ;)
