Time for bowling

Sunday I challenged a friend in bowling and of course the idea was to win and totally dominate the competition. You never play a game without aiming for winning, right? Eventually I realized that it could be a good idea to drop the not very modest attitude as my friend had a secret bowling weapon! It turned out that he started out really lousy, actually he missed out on almost every first turn but then he astonished me with unexpected strikes almost every second time! Indeed that’s quite a smart tactics to make the other person think that you are really lousy (which of course he actually is) and then start scoring nothing else but strikes. However, Sweden was playing quite well throughout the whole competition and only got distracted a few times from Italy’s silly background behaviour. One can wonder if it is really allowed to step dance on the tracks in order to distract the opponent? Of course Sweden never tried to distract Italy at all and the rumours about Sweden stretching really loudly when Italy was about to play are totally false. After a few sweaty hours we ended up winning two turns each which was a relief cause who knows what would have happened if I had won over a Sicilian in bowling ;)

Seems like a sweaty evening in the bowling hall! Remembering the ours we used to spend at "Bowlaget", I am quite disappointed, though, that you didn´t manage to win, Hannah! But I´m sure you´ll have your come back next time!
