Easter concert

Tommaso came to Siena the other day with one of the orchestras that he works for to perform an Easter concert. It was very exciting to listen to him and the other musicians especially since the orchestra that he works for is the “Rinaldo Franci” of Siena. This orchestra is a part of the famous musical institute of Siena that is also called “Rinaldo Franci” and which actually have graduated some very famous musicians. There was Mozart on the programme and Christine got all excited since he obviously is Austrian (like her) and Schubert. The Mozart concert was for orchestra and clarinet and there was a fantastic soloist playing the part of the clarinet and to our astonishment he was only twenty years old! He was shockingly talented! Tommaso on the other hand was very professional as always and he just gets better and better for every year that passes by. Unfortunally it was freezing cold in the Church and because of that he wasn’t able to perform his best but Tommaso’s second best is always good enough. He was very surprised when I brought him flowers (which is customary in Sweden after a performance) and claimed that he had never received flowers in his whole life. It seemed to have been a good idea though because after receiving them he was smiling like never before :)
